#Repost @funtravel247 (@get_repost) ・・・ Dear Fun Travelers! In case you missed it, Filipinos can now visit Taiwan visa-free for 14 days beginning Nov. 1, 2017. In a series of posts, we’ll give you 14 things to do/reasons to visit with insider tips and ideas. No. 1 - VISIT TAIPEI 101 UP CLOSE Spanning 101 stories (508m), this engineering marvel is Taiwan’s treasured skyscraper. Between 2004 and 2010, Taipei 101 was the tallest tower in the world, surpassed by the Burj Khalifa in Dubai. To visit the tower up close, ride Taipei’s MRT and take the Red Line 2 directly to Taipei 101 station and you will immediately see this view as you exit. Better yet, take the Blue Line 5 to Taipei City Hall Station, located beneath HanKyu Department Store then have a leisurely walk southward towards the Xinyi Shopping District and you will definitely see an unobstructed view of the tower along the skyline. #FT247 #FunTravel247 #Taipei #Taiwan #Taipei101
